“MAGGIE” - STANDING STONES MAGNUM LOAD MH - RETIRED
Maggie is not just an exceptional hunting dog. She is a love bug in the house and loves for you to save her a spot on the couch or in the bed to cuddle overnight. She sure makes a great foot warmer! This love for her people makes her a great friend to little kids, and a good watchdog. Maggie is one of our foundation females but is now retired.
“MAKO” - HONOR POINTS LAND SHARK JH UT-1 - RETIRED
Mako inherited her momma, Timber’s wonderful personality. She is easygoing in the house and will playfully let you know when she’s feeling spunky! Mako’s second favorite place to be is on the couch next to you and she will melt into your arms. Mako’s tracking ability in the field is second to none and has multiple 400 yard plus wounded rooster recoveries.
“MANDI” - STANDING STONES E3 GUNPOWDER AND LEAD SH - RETIRED
Mandi is a hard worker and her determination makes her a dog you can keep on the ground and hunt all day long, or train tirelessly in the off-season. She has a nice foot-hunting range and covers ground well, which makes her a joy to hunt behind! Mandi is one of our foundation females but is now retired.
“MUDDY” - STANDING STONES DOWN AND DIRTY MH UT-1 - RETIRED
Muddy has been such an impressive dog ever since we picked her out of Grit's first litter! She has always been so sweet and well-behaved in the house! Even as a little puppy we were impressed with her livability!
“NIX” - STANDING STONES NOTHIN BUT TROUBLE MH UT-1 (FROZEN SEMEN ONLY)
Nix’s fun loving, vivacious personality always puts a smile on our face. He is definitely a popular dog at all of the outdoor expos, shows and hunting competitions we go to; everyone wants to stop by and say "hi" and love on him.
“ONYX” - HONOR POINTS DARK KNIGHT UT-2
Onyx is the complete package. He’s an easygoing, well-mannered companion at home who knows exactly how to turn it on the moment he hits the field. Around the house, he is calm, affectionate, and fantastic with children. He greets everyone who walks through the door like an old friend and is just as content napping under the bed as he is soaking up the sun in the backyard.
“PIPER” - A-TEAM PIPER MH - RETIRED
You can’t help but say “wow” when you look at Piper! She is one big, beautiful girl! Not only is she pretty looking she is pretty on point and has style for miles. She definitely is on the bigger side for a female and she’s got a big ole’ head and often gets mistaken for a male if she isn’t wearing a pink collar!
“POCKET" - STANDING STONES EL TESORO POCKET ROCKET NA-1
“Pocket Rocket” is the phrase that comes to mind when describing her. She may be compact in size, but she brings a level of intensity and drive that stands out every time she hits the field.
Everything she does, she does with intensity. She hunts with intensity; she is a little pocket pistol in the field, covering ground quickly and purposefully! She backs naturally and with the same amount of intensity as she points, and carries that same focus and desire into retrieving. In the water, she is just as driven—attacking swimming with power and purpose and never hesitating when there’s work to be done. Her high energy is consistent across every aspect of her training and hunting.
“QUEST” - OUTLANDERS QUEST FOR TROUBLE MH UT-2 - RETIRED
Quest is a sweet girl with a softer personality. She is extremely natural and exceedingly trainable. She’s easy peasy in the house and sweet as pie with other dogs, puppies, and our son! This girl is special, and we expect great things out of her and her puppies for years to come.
“QUINN" - STANDING STONES EL TESORO MEDICINE WOMAN NA-1
You may be wondering where we came up with Quinn’s name. Well since her daddy is Standing Stones El Tesoro Medicine Man we thought it would be fun to tie that into her name. And if you’ve ever seen an old episode of Dr Quinn Medicine Woman you may see what we did there ;)
“RYE" - ASPEN HILL ONE MORE POUR MH UT-1
Natural steadiness and immense retrieving drive, two strong characteristics that were evident from an early age and have shined throughout Rye’s development of wild bird hunting and a strong testing career. Rye has all the go in the field with impressive athleticism, but has a sweet and loving personality in the home that soaks up human interaction. She loves to train and work, doing it with a smile on her face that makes working with her a pure joy . Like her namesake , she is perfect blend of spicy and relaxing, always already for that next dose of life.
“SHOCK” - STANDING STONES UNEXPECTED UT-1
She did so many big dog things this year from tracking like a pro (she got it from her momma) and being super steady on birds (she got it from her daddy) to showing us her true versatility. This girl is great in the water, retrieves all day long, tracks with focus and points with intensity and style.
“SHOOTER” - STANDING STONES GUN FOR HIRE MH UT-2 (FROZEN SEMEN ONLY)
All of Shooter’s characteristics are exactly what we are looking for in our dogs. He passes his incredibly sweet, easy going, quiet disposition onto his puppies and his natural retrieving drive shines through as well. We know Shooter is something special and can’t wait to see him reach his full potential!
“SNAP” - SHARP SHOOTERS SV RIVER BELLE SH - DECEASED
Snap is our light switch dog. When she’s in the house she is off. When she’s in the field she is on. This incredible combination of a lazy, couch potato that will sleep through the morning alarm and a hard-charging, field and duck hunting machine is what makes Snap so special.

This girl really does make some waves! Not only does she love to retrieve but she always makes a splash in the field with her good looks and style for miles.

Tailor is one heck of a bird dog.

Her style and intensity on point is off the charts!
She has Natural Bird Sense and has hunted huns, sharptails and pheasants in North Dakota, pheasants and prairie grouse in South Dakota, pheasants and quail in Kansas and now she is down in Texas on more quail!
She was early to mature and has so much natural steadiness that she developed quickly and was able to start guiding at the El Tesoro Ranch steady to wing, shot and fall this season!
Plus she loves to retrieve!

This boy has been impressing us with his drive, desire, independence, natural ability, and trainability from the beginning! He is definitely an improvement on everything that has come before him and that is always the goal in a good breeding program.

Don’t let her super sweet and easy-going personality fool you, she has the drive and desire to make a great hunting dog and she sure is determined when she wants something!
