Archer has hunted wild birds in several states, to include various species and ecosystems throughout South Dakota and the Nebraska Sandhills. He also enjoys hunting waterfowl and many different upland species in some of the harshest wintery conditions that Montana provides. Icy waters and sub-zero wind conditions are a non-issue when it comes to his game drive. Archer also makes for a wonderful family companion and has a very tolerant and loving approach to children and other pets.

Archer has an impressive build at 70lbs, with very cooperative trainability to match his game and water drive. 

Archer did qualify for the 2021 NAVHDA Invitational, however, he didn’t run due to his owner’s obligations at a Smokejumper with the Forest Service. Although Archer wasn’t able to showcase his ability at the invitational, the consensus is nothing but full confidence that he would have earned the title of Versatile Champion had he run.

Cooperation, trainability, drive, and a loyal companion is the best way to sum this dog up.
